Nick Wilkins graduated from Grinnell High School in 2001. He then graduated from Coe College in 2005 with a BA in Economics and Business Administration before moving to Des Moines in 2005. Nick also played basketball for Coe College. Nick has worked in the construction industry for over 16 years for Pella Windows, making him an expert in the selection and installation of window systems.  Nick has also worked with residential and commercial property owners on the replacement of their roofing, siding, and gutters over the last 4 years.  In his spare time, Nick enjoys spending time on the lake with his wife Kelly and their three kids, Emery, Jaxon, and Kaia. He enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams, outdoor family activities, neighborhood gatherings, and golfing.

 

 

Chris Smith graduated from Pella High School in 2010. He then went on to pursue an Economics degree at the University of Iowa.  It was at this point that Chris began his time in the construction industry by framing houses while attending college to pay rent.  After college, Chris worked in the commercial construction industry for several years at Hy-Vee Construction before committing fully to the insurance adjusting field.  In his time as an adjuster, Chris has “chased hurricanes” all over the East Coast, worked as a local adjuster here in Des Moines, and been a team leader at a corporate claims office working as a desk adjuster.  In 2019, Chris began consulting for construction contractors in regards to insurance claims and eventually decided to return to construction full-time.  In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his son Nash, camping, hiking, jiu jitsu, canoeing, fishing, and pheasant hunting.
